As a Toronto thriller and YA writer, I’m truly excited announce the launch of my new YouTube segment called Treks & Books.
I’ve travelled to over 80 countries with my wife and my son has joined in the adventure. In each YouTube show, I will highlight the various destination cities I’ve travelled to throughout the world drawing together links to the literature, films and TV shows that feature the location as a setting. After all, I’ve often seen an exotic local in a movie or read about one in a book and it’s inspired me to visit. I like to touch on art and architecture too. There’s something for both the travel bug and the book worm.
Check it out, like and subscribe @FrancisVandenHoven on YouTube. Here’s the episode about Edinburgh, Scotland.
